Tiny Home Associates Named NOAH Certified Builder Spotlight
Tiny Home Associates is proud to be featured as the Builder Spotlight by NOAH RDI, the nationally recognized third-party certification body for tiny homes on wheels (THOWs).
Each Thursday, NOAH highlights one certified builder's work as part of its ongoing Builder Spotlight series. This week, they chose one of our recent builds — and the recognition speaks to exactly what we set out to prove every time we start a new project: that tiny home living doesn't mean giving up space, comfort, or luxury.
What NOAH Had to Say
In their spotlight feature, NOAH called out several details of the build:
- A bathroom finish that stood out for its design and craftsmanship
- Abundant natural light throughout, thanks to thoughtful window placement
- An open-concept layout that makes the tiny home feel far larger than its footprint
- A deck built for real indoor-outdoor living
As NOAH put it, this build reflects "care, excellent craftsmanship, and thoughtful planning" — the same standard we hold every Tiny Home Associates unit to, from first design sketch to final walkthrough.
Why NOAH Certification Matters
As a NOAH Certified builder, every home we build is inspected at multiple stages of construction against nationally recognized safety, structural, and energy standards. That means:
- For buyers: assurance that your home was inspected — not just built — to code, with a documented history of every inspection stage
- For code officials and counties: a trusted, third-party verification standard that fills the gaps where local tiny home codes are still catching up
- For lenders and insurers: a legitimate, well-documented asset that's easier to finance and insure
NOAH RDI has spent 10 years keeping tiny homes safe and certified, and their standards now extend beyond traditional THOWs to include vehicle conversions and modular construction in select states.
Built for San Diego County, Certified Nationwide
Tiny Home Associates specializes in luxury tiny homes on wheels built in California, serving San Diego County and beyond. Every home we build is designed to meet the dual bar of local zoning and ADU requirements and NOAH's national certification standards — so whether you're placing a unit as a legal ADU in an unincorporated county area or moving it across state lines, it's built and documented to hold up to scrutiny.
